WE’RE JUSTIFIED BY BELIEVING!

What then? Are we better than they? Not at all, for we previously indicted both Judeans and Greeks, that they are all under sin, as it has been written, “No one is just, no, not one.”….Now we know that whatever the law says, it speaks to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be stopped and that all the world may become guilty before God.  Wherefore, no flesh will be justified before Him by the works of the law, for through the law is the knowledge [acknowledgment] of sin.  Now, however, the justice of God without the law has been manifested, being witnessed to by the law and the prophets.  Yes, the justice of God is by the believing of Jesus Christ to all those who believe, for there is no difference.  In fact, all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus….Therefore, we conclude that a person is justified by believing without works of the law.

Romans 3:9-10, 19-24, 28
