Established With Grace

Hebrews 13:9 (WT)

Do not get carried away with diverse and strange doctrines [what is taught]. In fact, it is good for the heart to be established with grace, not with foods by which those who walk [live] have not profited.

We should stay put on God’s grace, and not chase after every doctrine we hear.

Ephesians 4:11-15 (KJV)

11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:

14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

We are to speak the truth in love and grow up in Christ in all ways, by learning from God’s Word all that we have in Christ and all that we are in Christ, and walking in it.  Then we won’t be tossed back and forth by everything that we hear.  Then we won’t be led astray by people who are trying to deceive us.
